Feras Alhlou

Feras Alhlou

Feras Alhlou is the Principal Consultant and Co-founder of E-Nor, Inc. His drive and passion for improving clients’ ROI led to the creation of E-Nor in 2003. Since its inception, the company’s focus has been creating and implementing digital analytics and marketing optimization strategies for E-Nor’s diverse client base, including Fortune 500 companies. Feras’s dedication and entrepreneurial spirit leads to the continued growth of E-Nor, as well as the high achievement of earning multiple qualifications as a Google Analytics Premium Authorized Reseller, Google Analytics Certified Partner (GACP), and a Google AdWords Certified Partner. Feras has traveled the globe educating online marketing consultants, marketers and business owners. He speaks frequently at industry events including eMetrics, Google Analytics User Events, Search Engine Strategies (SES) and Search Marketing Expo (SMX), and has been published in multiple publications including WebProNews, the official Google Analytics blog and Wall Street Journal’s SmartMoney. Feras is a member of the Digital Analytics Association (DAA), a Certified Web Analyst™, and serves on the DAA Examination sub-committee.

Andrew leads the Analytics organization for HPDirect, HP's WW B2C eCommerce organization, which is #17 on the Internet Retailer Top500. He's spent the past four years building a multi-disciplinary Analytics team with locations in both the US and India. HPDirect is a fully integrated Manufacturer direct online website and is the only place where customers can buy custom configured HP PCs to their exact specifications. With his extensive business background Andrew drives a very pragmatic approach to Analytics that always starts with a clear understanding of the business problem and ends with actionable insights that drive tangible business results. Andrew is consistently ranked in the top ten percent of all managers at Hewlett-Packard.

Ron Bodkin

Ron Bodkin

Ron founded Think Big Analytics to help customers leverage new data processing technologies like Hadoop and NoSQL databases and R for statistical analysis. Ron leads a team of experts in flexible data processing and analytics, helping customers rapidly develop analytic solutions that integrate unstructured and structured data. Previously, Ron was the VP of Engineering for Quantcast where he led the data science and product development teams which processed two petabytes of data daily using Hadoop. Prior to that Ron was a founder of enterprise consulting companies C-bridge and New Aspects. Ron was CTO of C-bridge as it delivered B2B applications to the enterprise, growing to 900 consultants and a successful IPO.

Jim founded and operates PrivacyChoice, delivering tools to make online privacy easier for consumers and publishers, including Privacyscore, the first comprehensive privacy rating service covering thousands of websites and data-collection companies.The PrivacyChoice data and feature set also are syndicated in offerings of partners such as Reputation.com, Ensighten and Keynote Systems. Previously, Jim founded Attributor, a next-generation content tracking and syndication platform. served as Yahoo's founding counsel, led Yahoo!'s Communications and Consumer Services division, co-founded Amicus, an investment and advisory firm for early-stage technology companies, and led the Internet practice at Venture Law Group in Silicon Valley.

Rahul Deshmukh

Rahul Deshmukh, Director, Web Intelligence, Splunk

Rahul is currently Director for Web Intelligence Product Marketing at Splunk. In this role, Rahul is responsible for the Go To Market activities for the Splunk's Web Intelligence offering. Additionally, Rahul helps the Big Data product marketing team on Splunk's big data products. Rahul has a unique blend of Web Analytics strategy, Business Intelligence and marketing experience. Rahul is very passionate about the web and his areas of interest are web analytics, marketing strategies, optimization and KPI evaluation. Prior to Splunk, Rahul was Sr. Manger - Search Analytics at eBay. His team worked on analytics and optimization for Product Based Experience, Verticals, Catalogs, Fitment, Classification and Advertising. His past experience include Director of Analytics and Optimization for Ask.com. and Dell. At Dell, Rahul was responsible for the Web Analytics Tools Strategy for Dell.com (largest e-commerce site) which included identifying capabilities, KPI, functionality, vendor selection, and implementation of a Web Analytics tool.

Jed Kolko

Jed Kolko

Jed Kolko, Chief Economist and Head of Analytics, oversees Trulia's research programs. Applying a background in economic development and research methods, he transforms real estate data, economic trends, and public policy debate into digestible insights for home buyers, sellers and renters. In Jed's prior role as Associate Director and Research Fellow at the Public Policy Institute of California, he led research projects and advised policymakers and business leaders on economic, housing and technology policies. Before his work at PPIC, Jed directed Forrester Research's consumer-technology market research, advising corporate executives on technology adoption and demand. Jed has also held positions at the Office of Federal Housing Enterprise Oversight (now FHFA), the World Bank and the Progressive Policy Institute. Jed earned his A.B. in social studies and his Ph.D. in economics at Harvard University.

Dylan Lewis

Dylan Lewis, Group Manager, Digital Measurement, Intuit

Dylan Lewis is currently the Group Manager, Web Measurement at Intuit. In his role, Dylan leads the TurboTax End-to-end measurement team. The team is focused on optimizing the TurboTax experience through analytics and experimentation. Dylan joined Intuit in 2005 after working at Visual Sciences. Prior to Visual Sciences, he worked at SmartDraw.com as the Director of Marketing. Dylan earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from UC Santa Cruz, and a master’s in Industrial Organizational Psychology from San Diego State University.

As Quantivo's Founder and Chief Technology Officer, Paul guides the development of the Quantivo platform and on-demand applications. He has more than 15 years of development and engineering experience in the business intelligence and customer relationship management industries. Paul is an expert on big data and analytics and has been working on solving challenging business problems for companies for over a decade. As a recognized thought leader in the space, he spoke earlier this year at the first ever Cloud Analytics conference as well as numerous business and infrastructure panels to date.

James Raybould leads Insights at LinkedIn, focusing on how to use LinkedIn’s position as the world’s largest professional network to help companies hire, market, and sell more effectively. LinkedIn Insights combine business analytics and survey research of the characteristics & behaviors of its 160M+ professional members to help LinkedIn and its customers make data-driven decisions. A meaningful piece of these efforts is analyzing LinkedIn’s billions of rows of activity data to help power its go-to-market approach across its recruiting, marketing, and sales solutions business lines.

Dr. Michael Recce

Dr. Michael Recce

Dr. Michael Recce has been managing the Modeling team at Quantcast for the past year. Prior to Quantcast, he lead Fortent’s transaction monitoring and risk assessment systems. For seven years, Michael worked extensively with financial institutions devising improved methods for detecting unusual activity in financial transaction data. Early in his career, Michael was a product engineering manager at Intel Corporation, where he led the development of new memory products for the company. Other projects he has worked on include the design of a control system for a space-based robot for Daimler-Benz, which was developed to run scientific and engineering experiments in the space station. Michael holds six patents, including one for research of a behavioral biometric called dynamic grip recognition, and was a recipient of the Thomas A. Edison Award in 2005. He has been a lecturer at University College, London and a professor of information systems at New Jersey Institute of Technology. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of California-Santa Cruz and his doctorate from University College, London.

Now with KISSmetrics he is building a data driven solution to help online businesses make better business decisions. Hiten is passionate about helping other entrepreneurs and startup people.

As a Founding Director and President since 2004, Jim has been instrumental in the appointment of the first Board of Directors, the Advisory Board and the development of the Education Committee and its programs. Jim is the Association's spokes person and chief cheer-leader, leading the organization to deliver on its mission - uniting and educating analytic professionals, consultants, practitioners and educators.

Jim Sterne produced the world's first Marketing on the Internet seminar series in 1994. Today, Sterne is an internationally known speaker on electronic marketing and customer interaction. A consultant to Fortune 500 companies and Internet entrepreneurs, Sterne focuses his 20 years in sales and marketing on measuring the value of a web site as a medium for creating and strengthening customer relationships.

Sterne has written five books on Internet advertising, marketing, and customer service including, his most recent, Web Metrics: Proven Methods for Measuring Web Site Success.

Robert Wrubel serves as Chief Innovation Officer and Executive Vice President at Apollo Group. His responsibilities include overseeing Apollo Product Technology, Apollo Information Technology and Operations as well as the Apollo Marketing Group. Prior to this role, he served as Chief Marketing and Product Development Officer (2009 to 2011), Senior Vice President of Marketing (2008 to 2009) and CEO of Aptimus, Inc., which was acquired by the Apollo Group in 2007 (2005 to 2008). Before joining Aptimus, he served as CEO of Yoga Works (2003 to 2005), Entrepreneur in Residence at Highland Capital (2001 to 2002), Founding CEO and President of Ask Jeeves (1998 to 2001), and COO of Knowledge Adventure (1992 to 1998).

As chief executive officer, Alex Yoder is responsible for worldwide operations and the overall strategic vision of Webtrends, The Global Leader in Mobile and Social Analytics. Prior to his appointment as CEO, Yoder spent the past seven years serving in key management positions at Webtrends, with his last role being vice president of sales, North America. During his tenure at Webtrends, he has successfully worked to expand the brand and deliver business value to global enterprises. His time at Webtrends tops off more than 20 years of global business experience spanning leadership roles across sales, marketing and operations. Yoder has also served as vice president of sales for Touch Clarity, a behavioral targeting company. Yoder won a Stevie Award for Executive of the Year in Computer Software at the 2011 American Business Awards and was recognized by the Portland Business Journal as the 2010 CEO of the Year in Technology. Yoder holds a Bachelor of Arts in English literature from Whitman College.
